ReCasa Loydi

Historical Building-Casa Loydi Reconstruction. Casa Loydi is an architectural jewel of the early twentieth century. The original Structure was constructed at 1914.

Today, Casa Loydi is reconstructed to become the newest cultural and artistic center of Corozal.

Cibuco Historical Center

Cibuco Historical Center is an ecotourism project that preserves about 47 cuerdas of land. These land were once the Bou-Galí family and utilized for the cultivation of sugar cane.

Location: PR-818 at Km 2.5, in Corozal.

At present, the center has a museum ( the old big house which was restored), a lake with recreational use, a boardwalk with balconies that overlook to the Taino petroglyphs, playground area and Shelter with the "Trapiche" for the confession of the "guarapo" (sugarcane juice).

Guateque Convention Center (Corozal)

Convention Center, located at Km. 2.5 of the PR-818, Cibuco Ward in the Municipality of Corozal. The multipurpose building has the capacity to accommodate 1,000 people seated for social and cultural activities. The structure is composed of prefabricated concrete panels ("tilt up panels") and structural steel. The design has the flexibility to the main hall is transformed into different forms and can be used as one large room or can be separated into four equal rooms for up to 250 people each for smaller meetings.
